King's Ely welcomed inspectors from both the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and Ofsted on the same day.

The long weeks of learning lines, practising songs and rehearsing scenes and dance sequences culminated in another excellent drama production at Packwood Haugh School to end the spring term on a high. The school theatre resounded to appreciative laughter, pantomime responses and loud applause throughout the performances of Cinderella – The Truth!

A Leighton Park student, who is the current U16 1000m kayak UK champion and on the GB Olympic pathway, has been awarded a prestigious Squadkit Scholarship for her amazing achievements in kayaking.

Llandovery College’s Tŷ Dewi boarders recently organised a successful 24 hours of fundraising activities having been inspired by the story of Llandovery Prep School pupil Amelie Kessels, who has undergone gruelling surgery and treatment in her battle against cancer.

Students’ eyes were opened wide to the damage being done to the environment at LVS Ascot’s Science Week from Monday 12th–Friday 16th March. The independent all-ability school inspired students with a range of high profile visitors to demonstrate the importance of tackling plastic pollution, and integrated the content across a range of other subjects.
